With the recent DoD Memorandum on the Responsible and Effective Use of Internet-based Capabilities (http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/DTM-09-026.pdf) the Department of Defense has taken a proactive new stance which recognizes the impact and applicability of new media tools.
